That’s something I started thinking about during the last major tournament. At first I always leaned toward the strongest teams because it seemed like the safest choice, but after watching several close matches I realized that value isn’t always where most people expect it. A team can have great recent form without getting much attention, and those are often the ones I enjoy following. I usually spend some time reading recent match reports, checking if key players are available, and seeing how teams have performed against similar opponents. It doesn’t guarantee that my opinion will be right, but I feel much more comfortable making a choice after doing a little homework instead of relying only on reputation. Even when the result surprises me, I end up learning something new about the teams.
