Kolga-Jaani plant is situated in central Estonia, 140 km from Tallinn.
The plant consists of the production unit and the store. In 1999 this plant started the production of big bales. During 2002-2003 the plant was under thorough reconstruction and starting from September 2000, the fully automated, Canadian built plant works at full speed. The new equipment includes the mixing line, bagger, baler and palletizer. The bigbale press also remained in operation.
The peat that is screened and packed comes from the peat bogs of Tapiku and Umbusi. The big bales are 4,5-6 cbm in size, small bales come in 6 standard sizes: 50, 140, 165, 225 and 275 litres; the bag are in various sizes from 10 L to 70 L.
