GuestI got stuck on a small JavaScript project because one function kept returning the wrong result. I stared at the code for ages and couldn’t see what I was missing. Eventually, I asked an AI coding assistant to explain what the function was doing line by line, and that helped me spot the problem. How do you usually use AI when you hit a coding roadblock?

GuestI’ve seen people use AI in several different ways when coding gets difficult. Some ask for explanations, while others use it to identify possible bugs or suggest alternative approaches. I think giving the tool enough context makes a big difference. If you only paste one line of code, the answer may not address the real problem. Including the error message and explaining what the program is supposed to do usually gives a much clearer starting point. I also think it’s worth testing every suggested fix instead of assuming the AI is automatically correct.

GuestWhen I’m stuck, I usually ask AI to explain the problem rather than immediately asking it to rewrite everything. That approach helped me recently when a Python script was throwing an error I couldn’t understand. I pasted the relevant section and asked what might be causing it, then checked each suggestion myself. Sometimes I also ask AI at https://brawe.ai/ for two or three possible solutions so I can compare them. Another useful trick is asking AI to simplify complicated code or add comments to a confusing function. I find that much more helpful than simply copying a generated answer. It turns the debugging process into something I can actually learn from.
