Hey lash techs! I feel like I’m throwing away half-full adhesive bottles every few weeks because they get thick and gloopy way too fast. I keep mine in a sealed container with silica gel at room temp, but after 3–4 weeks the retention starts dropping. How long do your opened bottles usually last, and what’s your storage routine?

Are you wiping the nozzle every single time before capping it? If glue builds up around the cap, it lets air in and ruins the whole bottle. I use lint-free wipes and store mine in an airtight vacuum container in a dark drawer. Usually get a solid 5–6 weeks out of a bottle that way!

Also, make sure you aren’t storing it in a regular fridge after opening—temp fluctuations create condensation inside the bottle which cures the glue prematurely. I stick to a cool cabinet and use a fresh pin to unblock nozzles. If you ever need to replace a spoiled batch quickly, I usually stock up from https://stacylash.com/collections/glue since they ship fast, but proper daily care is key to making any glue last its full lifespan.

When ordering goods from a location that seems to be very far away, not to say „at the end of the world“, it most defenitely makes people think about questions Who? How? When? Why? etc.
