GuestIntroducing the Patek Philippe Calatrava Perpetual Calendar Ref. 7147G-010—Patek Philippe’s first perpetual calendar watch featuring Italian-language sub-dials. Among the tricolor Calatrava series created for the Italian market, the green model stands out as the most striking. The new Perpetual Calendar Ref. 7147G-010 is one of seven limited-edition models launched at the Milan Watch Art Exhibition; it marks the first time Patek Philippe has paired its renowned 240 Q perpetual calendar movement with a Calatrava dial featuring a carbon-fiber-style texture. The vibrant green lacquered dial—combined with day and month displays in Italian (a first for a Patek Philippe perpetual calendar)—gives this timepiece a unique character unmatched by any other model in the standard catalog.

GuestWhat do you need to know about this watch?
The case is crafted from 18K white gold, measuring 38mm by 10.18mm, and is water-resistant to 30 meters. The green lacquered dial—representing the second color of the Italian flag, following the red Ref. 7047G-010 Minute Repeater—retains the Calatrava collection’s signature embossed carbon-fiber pattern. The calendar sub-dials are somewhat densely arranged, giving the dial a more intricate appearance compared to the white-dialed Ref. 7007G-010 in the same series. The watch features hours, minutes, a perpetual calendar, moon phase, and a 24-hour display, with the day and month indicated in Italian. This marks Patek Philippe’s first perpetual calendar to display the day and month in Italian using sub-dials rather than apertures—a distinctive detail that will serve as a signature feature of this model for years to come. The simultaneously released Ref. 5978P-010 also features Italian-language displays, yet as a perpetual calendar chronograph, it is a completely different timepiece. It is fitted with an alligator leather strap and a matching pin buckle, featuring special stitching near the buckle that pays tribute to the colors of the Italian flag.
